Samsara

15 Sep

Tom Savage

I need a bath in samsara.
Tears cut in stone.
Ghosts frozen in rock.
Temples of the mind.
Two rocks embrace.
Children in samsara:
How could they not be
Except for some tulkus* maybe?
Prisoners dance as guards look on.

*A tulku is a reborn high Tibetan lama discovered while in childhood.

Written while watching Samsara, the film by Ron Fricke.
