1.
Across the sun the ground
‘s face was green, Judy said.
Getting closer
Only briefly
Stay that way a long time.
A million years stay there,
Agreed
Everyone would become a few hours
Drinking tea
Before sewage over the horizon
Two minutes ago
I am no longer your serf
Every last dish of oatmeal
Waits til my evening
Comes a cropper.
Burst into bloom.
Burn the shore
Declared a treat
Slurped their last day.
2.
Inside the next could feel it
A wave of energy was gone.
Near the city, the big blue boat
The future will live in
Twitched. Live with me.
Let the birds wash.
Call attention to who have strayed.
Mother accepts them,
Nurses back to something,
Stands up only to fall.
They all got out
And that was that for that.
