Unnameable Poetry

6 Oct

Tom Savage

Anything that any of us can do
We want to do it now.
Mass clean-ups, fly-ins
Fly outs without crashes
Or bashings. Busloads of people
Keep on coming
And can do so now
If anyone young enough
To have the energy
Were to try.
Check the streets
And air what you find.
Only be kind as you do so.
When the police start to go mad,
The state should be falling apart,
But does it?
When myths become realities,
Do they never end?
It’s not so bad as
If you can’t find something
It no longer exists.

Written while watching Radio Unnameable, a film about Bob Fass
